LMC Updates
Technology Update from ISD
- ISD working with several offices to improve bandwidth
- ISD increasing use of Starlink at remote locations
- ISD can work with field offices who may not have the funding available to carry out internet upgrade

- Management asked for labor’s support in increasing seasonal participation
Coalition Bargaining – Finished this week
In the face of budget cuts, chief accomplishment was to prevent losing ground on contract.
Additions to A123.3E: Boots and safety clothing.
- Added Microbiologist 2 and 3, OS2, and AS2 to list of classifications eligible for $325
- Updated the Learning and Development Specialist classifications
- Increased reimbursements for uniform shirts from 3 to 4, and from 1 pair of pants to 2 for seasonals and LDs upon initial appointment to the agency.
Central Table Bargaining
- Open bargaining (outside observers allowed) has closed, thanks for everyone who tuned in to show support. Now in closed bargaining till the end, hope to be done bargaining by the end of the month.
- Economics – Management passed a new top step. Proposed 11th step in March 2027, effective at time of next step. Labor countered with start in 2026 and increase effective immediately.
- COLAs – Labor asking to modernize COLA by having it tied to CPI.
- Seasonals – Management agreed to form a committee to review what is going on with seasonals across the agency (Why there are inconsistencies with how seasonals are implemented across the agency). They will report back during the next bargaining session.
- Still working on Bi-Weekly pay. Negotiating on reimbursing employees for transition.
- Waiting on proposal to match vacation with management
- Waiting on proposal to have ODFW integrated with AI
- Waiting on proposal to improve/add consistency to inclement weather language

General SEIU Updates
- Informational Picket on 7/10 – positive impact on bargaining
- ODOT Layoffs – funding bill did not pass. ODOT pays for COLAs out of pocket so they cannot intact COLAs this session. This stalls out the entire bargaining process.
