On the call we will be touching on our recent work regarding the telework grievance filed on December 20, 2021, including a recap of the argument presented to agency management. While grievance meetings cannot be recorded, we did record a mock presentation of our entire case that can be watched here. If you don’t have time to watch the entire 25 minute presentation, you can also view the slides or actual grievance filing.  Remember, union business can only be done on your own time and agency policy only allows intermittent use of your work computer for internet browsing during breaks and lunch.* To view the materials before or after work, we recommend forwarding this email to your personal email account.

We also will be following up on our proposed KN95 mask program. Although the office reopening has been delayed, based on your feedback, we will be supplying a limited number of KN95 masks to interested represented employees currently working in the office. In order to qualify, you must be a dues-paying represented employee. We will also offer masks when the offices reopen, so although you may not qualify now, if this is something you would like to participate in during the next reopening, please let us know now.  Please reply to this email with your name, office location, and current (or anticipated) number of days you work in the office. Pre-orders will allow us to decide whether a reimbursement model (i.e., you purchase the mask and get reimbursed with a receipt) or bulk-order model (we purchase the masks and send them directly to your office) is more appropriate, as well as letting us set caps on our budget.
